how can i tell a female from a male mollie fish!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Easy If you look at the very bottom fin and it is shaped like a stick it's male and if the fin is for fan like it's female. The pet store could probably show you the difference between male in female if you didn't get my description. Word of wisdom get 1 male and multiple females because if there is only one female for one male molly the male mollie will chase the female around constantly. That will stress her out and she could get sick or die because she can't get away from the male mollie. I had 1 male and one female and the female died even tho there was tons of hiding places in a week.
 
Generally the females are larger than the males. If I remember correctly the top fin is shaped differnt too. Make sure you buy a nursery basket and net as the larger fish will catch the babies when they are born and eat them. You will have to catch the babies and put them in the basket. Yes they are live bearers, they dont lay eggs.
