My shih tzu does not bark much, and when he does he barks excessively until he gets what he wants. He usually barks at night when he wants on my bed. I do not want him in bed and as soon as he jumps up I put him back down and he barks. He also barks when I shut him out of the bedroom at night until i get up and let him in.
