yes, i know vhs tapes are waaaay old, but i need to tape something for a friend who's dvd player broke, so they are using their vhs player until they get a new one. she asked me to tape a tv show for her onto this blank VHS tape, but the problem is, neither of us know how. i have a samsung DVD/VHS player and a RCA tv. i tried to put the tape in and press record, but when i rewind and try to watch it nothing shows up, just fuzz and then a gray screen that says unusable signal. help???
