I very recently overdosed on Tylenol. I know I need help and have been feeling physically ill, but I have not been able to get myself to tell anyone. I have an appointment with my psychiatrist tomorrow and I know I have to figure out how to tell him what I did.
I think I probably have some liver damage, and even if I don't, at the very least I know I need more help emotionally.
Would it be appropriate to write a letter to my psychiatrist and give it to him at my appointment? I was thinking that way I could think about it before and maybe it could be an easier way to bring it up? Or would that be even more awkward?
