I have a MIDI file. I also have a short sound clip. I want to take the sound clip and change its pitch and duration to match a MIDI track. Let me give you an example:
Let's say I have a sound clip of a cow saying, "Moo." I would want the cow to sing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star". This would be done by having a "moo" for each note of the song.
I think I would have to use the MIDI file to specify the notes of the song.
I have currently been using Sony Acid Pro 7 to do this manually. What I have been doing was taking the sound clip, and shifting the pitch up and down for EVERY note in the song. This is very time consuming and I would like a better way to do it.
Maybe it involves using the sound clip as a midi instrument.
Now, I am pretty sure I have all the necessary audio editing software.
I have Sony Acid Pro 7, Fruity Loops Studio 9, Audacity, Sony Vegas Pro, Guitar Pro 5, and Adobe Flash CS3. If I need anything else, let me know.
Now I am pretty sure this can be easily done in Fruity Loops, but I don't know how.
