How can I stop wind messing up my hair?

I have really fine hair, and even the smallest gust of wind means that it blows every where...which is made worse by living in the windiest place in the country.

I'm quite self conscious about it, and it means I wear my hood up a lot, and people mistake me for a dangerous hoodie.

Is there a way I can keep it more in place? I've considered wax/hair spray, but I'm not sure what to go for, with my long hair, and I'd rather it wasn't greasy looking!

try cutting it shorter and into more off a spilkey look where you can use gel etc on it
 
Find a knitted beanie hat, if you find just the rite size and shape for your face it will hold your hair exactly in place & is really easy to slip on and off quickly. Plus you wont look like a thug in a hood or a bit sticky with too much product x
