How can I stop the google search bar from showing everything I've ever typed?

I'm using Firefox, & every time I type anything into google, the next time I type even a letter, it shows everything I've ever typed that starts with that letter.

For example, if I typed "apple" once, & I do a new search & just type the letter "a" apple will show up.

I really need to know how to stop this. Make sure you provide instructions for how to do this when using Firefox!
 
clear browsing history option can help u

i believe it is ctrl+shift+del

make sure to check all the box "Clear saved Autofill form data" shown there before clicking clear browsing data
 
Click on the Firefox button on the top left of your screen(on FF4). There should be a "History" button and an arrow right next to it, move your mouse to the arrow and a new list should pop up. Now click "Clear Recent History." A popup box should appear and there should be a dropdown menu, click on it and click "Everything" then click the "Clear Now" button.
 
you cant stop it it was meant to help u search things esiar but it does suck sometimes.....wait for other answers im probably wrong...sorry
