During the beginning of the baseball season I was leading my travel team in RBI's and batting average but then I struggled in middle and end of the season and I ended up striking out a lot. Everyone says its because I keep pulling my head and shoulder out too soon. How can I stop doing this so I can be a good hitter again?

keep your head down on the ball, guaranteed. Baseball is all about keeping eyes on the ball you learn that when your little. Keeping your head down on the ball is actually really hard to do, it's similar to Tennis keeping your head still through contact will give you better success. The Habit is people wanting to see where the ball is going which is pointless during the follow through of your swing, changing this habit is difficult and requires practice and discipline.

there are several possibilities. you could adjust your feet so you have a closed stance. this prevents you from opening up too soon. make sure you don't take too large a stride. just lift your foot and put it back down. most importantly, keep your head down! watch the ball hit your bat.

Good luck, and remember, slumps always end sometime.

if your striding out the quick fix is don't stride. simply pick your front foot up slightly and put it back down in the same place. when slumping you always want to simplify your swing until you get your confidence and timing back. when ever i found myself pulling of the ball i would shorten my swing and try to hit everything back up the middle. worked every time.
