How can I stop eating sweet foods so much?

every day since i was really little after every meal i have to have a dessert. well now its been getting to the point at were if there's something sweet in the house that i really like i'll probaly eat most of it. i do eat healthy though because my mom buys whole grain everything,chicken and lots of vegetables. plus turkey hamburgers and lunch meat. I just want to stop eating sweets all the time. And because i've been eating sweets even more than i used to every day i gained on a little weight. I used to be a size 3 but now I'm a size 7 in pants. by the way i'm 13 so it could be because i'm just growing.
 
The best way to reduce your sweet cravings is replace what ever unhealthy sweet food you want to eat with a sweet food that's healthy. If your in the mood for something sweet like candy just eat something else sweet like strawberries, blueberries, or any kind of sweet fruit. If you do this evertime you crave something sweet, you'll want sweet unhealthy foods less and less and want sweet healthy foods more and more.
