I recently turned 21 about 2 months ago, and just started a relationship with a wonderful girl. About 3 years ago i decided to stop drinking for many reasons, manly because i never really agreed with drinking and, i view alcohol as a drug. I also, had never gotten drunk, or had a hangover, and wasnt addicted to alcohol.
Recently, i started struggling with whether or not to start drinking, mainly becuase the woman i am seeing does like to drink on occasion. She has offered, without me asking if id prefer her not drinking around me, and that has helped somewhat for the moment. I have also been struggling with myself since before we had met, and it seems like the fight is getting harder, and i no longer know what to do.
Please, No negative remarks about my choice, and i would really appreciate answers on both sides of the spectrum. Thanks
