how can i set up my 3 mobile with windows messenger so that it sends texts to my phone?

I have tried to go to Tools >> Options >. Phone and then to the website where I put in my number but it doesn't give me 3 it just gives me Virgin O2 Vodafone, Orange and T-Mobile and not 3 so is there something I am not doing right
