the input.? I know there is a way to do this because our DVD player and the Satellite t.v. receiver both used to be hooked up to the television. And basically you could turn the receiver on and it would pick it up, and you could turn that off and turn on the DVD player and it pick it up also without having to change the input.
My father is very old and isn't too keen on electronics and the seemingly simple steps to switching the input from "TV" to "DVD" are a little too much for him.
So I'm asking how do you hook up a receiver and a DVD player to a television and have them be entirely interchangeable?
