How can I send my boyfriend who is in the army homemade christmas cookies?

I want to send some with the gift I bought him but he is stationed in Cuba and he says it will take 2 weeks to get to him. I don't want them to be stale when he receives them. What else would be a good idea to send to him?

If you send him Christmas cookies, put them in a ziploc bag, and make sure it is AIR TIGHT. That way air won't get to them and they will still be fresh. Not as well as just-made cookies, but still fresh.

They'll be fine! I can't tell you how many things I've shipped to the desert, Diego Garcia, and all over the world! You'll need those Gladware or Take-Along containers. They're like cheap plastic containers with lids, packing tape, and some wax paper or foil. Place a layer of cookies, then wax paper or foil and repeat until the container is full. Add a layer to the top and then put the lid on tight. Tape the lid all the way around. It makes it airtight. Put as many containers as you want into a box and wrap it like you usually would. The less things are able to move around the better it will be. Include Christmas cards signed by as many people as you can. Get his family and friends involved and stuff.

Try to send cheer up things or things he needs. Candy, snacks, puzzle books, cards, even toiletries are nice to have. Sometimes hand lotion and some lip balm can be a Godsend!
