How can I save ringtones from my computer as SOUNDS on my enV3?

Ok. I saved a couple ringtones from a website to my computer and I'm trying to put them on my enV3 as sounds so I can make them my ringtones, but I can't figure out how. I think I did it before but I can't remember how and it's driving me INSANE...... All I can seem to do is put them on my phone as Music... Not sounds... Please help me! Does it have something to do with the SD card? =\
