I'm brand new to gardening, so I planted a small garden 2 months ago. I probably planted in too small an area because it is getting quite overgrown. However, I've been able to take some weeds out and I think most of the plants are the ones I seeded. The problem I have now is over half the plants (mostly peppers and tomato) are getting eaten really bad by some bugs. I think it's these new kind of horned beetle looking things that I've never seen before I planted this garden. They are really holing up the leaves.
Is there anything I could spray or do to stop them? I would like to see if I could eventually grow and eat something out of the garden so I don't want to use too much pesticide. I'm in Florida, so it's pretty hot/sunny now and a fair amount of rain falls. Thanks!
