My situation is simple, I filmed an important movie and when I removed the SD card from the camera and inserted it in the computer, Media Player could not open the file, MPC could not do it either, neither could Quicktime.
Codec problems? No.
... Because Windows could not copy the file to the hard disk because it says it is damaged or corrupted.
Windows Movie Maker cannot open the file either because it says it is damaged.
And the camera cannot also open the file because of the same reason.
The SD card is new and no the camera did not fall to the ground.
I tried Google and some basic free software to repair the file, even windows repair, but I cannot still open the movie.
Please help me!
