Go to Auto Zone look at what you like & simply ask them to tell you or show you how to hook it up.
Don't buy it if they simply say there are instructions in the box. Have them explain them to you.
Buy a name brand tach and if you get confused with the often confusing instructions for your particular model, you can always find the answers on the internet or by calling the company.
