How can i prevent my '89 Kawasaki KX250 from seizing?

just make sure you have a working oil pump and never let the oil tank go dry. If your 2 stroke does not have a seperate oil tank and oil pump, then premix in the proper amount is the way to go. always make sure there is oil mixing with the fuel and it should never seize

Like Janice said, use the proper ratio when mixing oil and gas (usually 32:1). Also, make sure you give you bike proper time to warm up. Don't kick it over, then start ripping as hard as you can, you'll cause a cold seizure this way. Also keep your antifreeze topped up and up to snuff and you should be fine.
