I am about to make a quilt for my sister, and would like to pre-shrink my fabric (since it's 100% cotton). However, I live in a hot climate and have no need for a dryer. Is there some other way for me to pre-shrink it? What about ironing it with steam? My sister lives in Canada and they have to dry everything there, so I would be afraid that it would go all wonky if she did...? Thanks!
