How can I play my ipod through my car stereo? (Fiesta)?

I just got a Fiesta Zetec S. It's a 56 plate.
It has no mp3/aux in connection and I have tried using FM Transmitters but they are awful!
Is there anything I can do to let me play my Ipod through my car stereo? I didn't really want to buy a new stereo because I heard you can get something installed into your existing one - but I have no idea what!

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

if you get a converter then you got to make sure you get a good one because some just play for a wile and then eject.
 
If you have a cassette player in your car stereo there is a converter you can buy that will allow you to play ipods through it. It looks like a cassette and you plug it into the player and the other end plugs into the ipod. They run between $6 to $19.
 
if you dont have a sound ystem get som rca cables hooked up to the back of ur headunit. thats the only way man. if that doesnt work than your gonna have to stick to those fm transmiters
