how can i persuade my mum to get me a new phone and contract?

I have a monthly contract £15 a month and i get £34 credit on anything i want, its a really bad phone and contract and i really want a blackberry curve which is £20 a month and you get 300 texts 300 minutes free bbp and unlimited internet, which is a better contract. But i don't know how to ask my mum to switch contracts?? And you cancel a contract, my friend did but im not to sure??
