I had a normal laptop before with word processor and i did work on it and saved it like normal. i recently got a new laptop- the macbook. I took a memory card and transported my old work to my new macbook. every time i try and open my documents on my new macbook it says i have to open it in something... so i click microsoft word that i recently downloaded on my macbook. but all that comes up is a sign with funny symbols in it.
What can i do?? how can i see my old work again?
