How can I make something move back and forth across a room without wind?

I am trying to get a small swinging weight to swing back and forth (preferably quickly) that is located 10 ft away from me. I cannot use wind. Perhaps resonance can somehow work? I will probably use a small magnet as the weight.

Guessing that you cannot pull a string of some sort either. Magnet might work.
