My hp dv7 laptop used to make a clicking noise when running your finger across the volume adjuster touch panel, which was helpful because the clicks would act as a preview to the volume setting. It stopped doing it, which is pretty annoying and I was wondering how to get it back. It stopped happening after I "shut down windows 7 improperly"... and got a prompt at start up to "start windows normally".
How can I make my HP dv7 laptop volume slider make the clicking preview noise again.?
