How can i make friends at camp?

i'm going to a music camp this summer and i'm going all by myself with no friends. I am shy until i start talking to people. I know that lots of people go with friends to this camp. How do i make friends with people who are already in huge groups? What do i say to them? Thanks
 
Start with the intro of course everyone will answer this right
then go on to usual talkings
talk something interesting or humorous don't be shy at all
people throw away shy ones
 
while in the camp there wud be instances that u have questions on ya head ryt? so try asking some of the campersbout it... it cud start a conversation
 
smile and what ever you do dont be mean or grouchy!!!
be your self and live laugh and have fun
