We would like to grow some veggies/fruits/herbs but we live in an apartment. We have a porch but I'd be afraid to put TOO much weight on it since it's a very old house and the landlord hasn't exactly kept up with repairs
Are there any inexpensive ideas to grow things in really small containers outside on a covered porch? (the hanging pots seem to be too heavy so those probably won't work unless they can be done in a really small container that won't weigh too much.) We live in Central Illinois with a south facing porch. It doesn't get a TON of direct sunlight since there is a tree on either side as well as other houses. We could possibly plant something in the yard as long as it didn't take too much hardware or space. Any ideas? Anything I can plant inside?
