I want to do a Pearson correlation test, but all the examples I have seen use data with specific numbers.
For example: Age: 24, Hours of sleep: 6, Age: 27, Hours of sleep: 7.
But the data I want to use for the test is in intervals.
For example: Age: 21, Daily hours in facebook: 1 to 3. Age: 25, Daily hours in facebook: 4 to 6.
What do I do in order to run the test? Do I use the average? Like, for the interval 1 to 3 I use the avergae (2) to run the test? Am I using the right test for my data?
