How can I look up the history of Firefox and internet explorer after its been deleted?

I have a few friends who use my computer though every time I get onto it just to look at where they have been, on both Firefox and Internet explorer I used to find all the history deleted. but now that there is inprivate for internet explorer and Private browsing for Firefox, is there a way to check the history after its been either deleted, or not even posted according to both programs?

I have leading suspicion that my friends are looking at porn and I want to stop it if anything is happening. they say they don't, but then again... Why delete all history and now not even record it? That's all I need. I don't want to download or install anything. I have 2 computers. one is vista, the other is still Windows XP.
 
You can get a list of sites from the router. Are your friends using your computer on your account? You can install software to monitor their behaviour and open a new user account for friends. To be honest, if you're not witnessing the fact, I'd say it's their private business what they do when they browse internet.
