How can I leave for the Navy earlier? Also, how can I be E-2 going into boot camp?

I joined the Navy a few months ago (June 5, 2009) and i'm just waiting around, working, waiting for time to pass before I can leave for the navy on June 2, 2010. I want to leave this second, is there anything I can do to leave earlier? Also, I'm planning on serving 20 plus years in the Navy and I want to get the most out of it. I want to become a chief one day, and I will. But I do want to start off my career on the right foot with being an E-2 before I leave. How do I do that? Also, you can tell me a little about the AZ and AO ratings, that would be great! thanks

If your already in the Navy, why would you want to leave it to re-join it? what you want to do is called re-enlist. Which is the only way you can maintain your e-2 pay grade.

These are all excellent questions to ask your recruiter. Only your recruiter can tell you what jobs you are qualified for and when you can ship out for those jobs.

I don't think you can leave earlier. To get an advanced promotion to E-2 or E-3 you need college credits, be an Eagle Scout, some branches give you an accelerated promotion is you enlist with a 6+ year active contract. Or get someone else to join the Navy as well and have them refer you.
