How can i learn to scream like alesana or dance gavin dance?

im almost 16 and i can play a bit of guitar but id really like to learn to scream like some of my fave bands, A couple buddies and me are starting a band and I'd like to be able to scream and not completly ruin my vocal cords.
 
screaming is a very hard thing to do and you have to have a lot of talent. It's not just like yeah i scream...you actually have to be good. The screamer for Dance Gavin Dance is very unique and i think it would be hard to scream like him. but from alesana i think you just need to listen to him over and over again and kinda get the feel for it. I'm a girl so i don't really scream lol but i think you should practice...a lot and try to make it something new.
