how can i learn salsa?

if you have any girlfriends that know how to dance you can always ask them for help!

and you can take a few basic classes from a female teacher is that doesn't offend your religion so that you won't need to practice with a man

anyways; if that doesn't work out, he's going to be your husband; he obviously accepts you WITHOUT amazing slasa skills:0

I really want to learn salsa/merengue/similar for my wedding so I can dance with my hubby on our wedding day. He can already dance as he's puerto rican but I don't have a clue, i can only bellydance... bit useless!
we're not getting married for about 8 months, but, we're living in different countries till the wedding!
the problem is, because i'm muslim, I can't really hold hands i.e. leaen to dance, with any other guy except him... so is there any way i can learn on my own? orr, can i learn same basic steps in the few weeks i'll see him before the wedding?
any suggestions? otherwise im gonna end up looking stupid wen he asks me to dance... =(
