How can I learn more about electronics?

I just got a job at an electronics store and I want to learn as much as I can about the items they sell. What is the best way to learn about Mobile Phones, TVs, Stereos, GPS, etc in a relatively short amount of time.
 
Be friendly with the customers. Not only are many of them going to ask you lots of questions but you will also come into contact with those that would be quite happy to be conversant on electronic subjects that they are familiar with too. You would find it difficult not to be learning new information every day.
 
You could start with what interest you the most. Maybe a new TV that you plan to buy, or a new PC that you wish to have. Study their specs and know the terms and also the technology. Then relate that to other similar electronics, such as the PC to a CD player, study the components used in it and so on... It will take a while to get use to it, but soon you'll find yourself sucked into the technology world.
