how can i know what is my cell phone number?

i have a cell phone and a sim card, but i don't know my number. i don't have any load and i lost the case(i don't know what is that container of the sim card called) that contains the number and nobody knows my number yet. how will i able to know my number because the sim card is given by our school and we should use it for activities so i couldn't buy another.
well my phone doesn't have any load to call or text and it doesn't contain the phone info.
 
you can either
1.) try calling your voicemail and it migth show up on the screen,
or
2.) settings > phone info > my number

(it all depends what network you have)
