How can I keep the bunnies out of my garden?

I have kid's pinwheels and little flags all around my flower beds. I have tried the rubber snakes--they don't work. I could get bunny poop from my neighbor, she said it works, but I'm not crazy about that idea. I need some ideas, help?

You might want to try putting hair clippings around the edge of the garden, the bunnies will smell humans and stay away, Another thing you might want to try is fox scent, you can get it at Academy, or Wal-Mart.

Last month, those darn rabbits ate the leaves off of most of my green bean plants. (Curses!). I went to the hardware store and bought some generic rabbit repellent granules (had a lot or organic stuff in it - garlic, bloodroot, etc). I poured it all around my garden. It had a strong garlic/onion smell to it that lasted a few days. However, it must've done the trick because the surviving bean plants have not been touched since.

You can try mothballs.I wouldn't place them directly in the dirt if they melt into the soil close to your vegetables it may kill them. All you need is the scent of them.I use them to keep squirrels out of my garden.I put them inside of old food cans and stuck them into the ground about half way down the can.I just leave them there and add more moth balls as needed. One thing to remember is to get them up before a rain because they may run over and pollute your soil. This has worked for me over the years.I have rabbits as well but I have more trouble with the squirrels.

As posted above, human hair will help but it did stop them because I didn't have enough hair, LOL.
I asked the same question about rabbits, deer and ground hogs also, and was told to use the fox scent. It is fox urine.
I got to thinking about it and figured if they were scared away with urine from a fox, maybe human urine would would work also. That day I started going in a gallon jug.
I poured it around the garden and that stopped the deer and rabbits but had no affect on the ground hogs.
Them things will set and look at you while they eat the beans.
I live less than 200 yards into the city limits but it's against the law to discharge a fire arm. I figure what they don't hear they don't know.
The Ammunition company CCI makes a .22 caliber CB long that doesn't sound any louder than a pellet rifle but it stopped a bunch of ground hogs last year. I either killed or captured in a cage and moved 27 ground hogs last year.
But I never had a problem with the rabbits or deer after I started pouring urine around the garden. The deer tracks would stop and turn about 20-30 feet from where I poured it at, but I never could find any other tracks.
It's the cheapest way I have found yet.
And no, a human can't smell it when spread out so there isn't a stink.
