I am planning on having a fondue party and want to serve pasta as a dipper for the cheese fondue but how can i keep it warm/hot? i want to cook it then serve but not immediately as i want it ready for my guests, any suggesetions would be great!

You could try making a double boiler, a metal bowl set over a pan with simmering water, and put a lid over it. This should keep it warm, not hot but not cold, enough for your fondue. I would also reccomend using a short pasta such as penne instead of linguini or spaghetti.
