How can I keep a MSN chat going for ages?

I usually chat with a girl I like on msn. Before I could make conversations last for hours. I also knew how to start flirting no matter what subject. No I calways get to the stop where neither person is talking and we keep going brb as an excuse to think up more things to talk about. I want a few tips how can I make my self seen funny like what kind of jokes should I make and what kind of things should I poke fun at. Also I forgot how to flirt so some tips on how to flirt in convos will be very helpful. Please help
 
You really shouldn't speak for hours to her on MSN, first of all MSN is a hell of annoying program to Communicate with each other, ask her out * if you dare =P*
It's like real life, you also wouldn't like it when someone keeps talking to you for hours
 
Ask about their parents, brother or sisters. You can ask about their school work or job, their relationship with their bf or gf, ask about who likes who, gossip for news, or even watch a few news and say a few point of few that people can argu or chat about
