I recently bought my dream car. A dark green Jeep Wrangler 2DR with Hardtop. 3.5 6CYL engine. And mine has a 6-Speed Manual Transmission.
But this thing eats more gas then i thought it would.
I just don't understand what i am doing wrong. I Drive with my foot steady on the accelerator, I always check to see if my tires are propperly inflated. (And they are), I Added Lucas© "Upper Cylinder Lubricant".....Since it worked on my 94 Saturn and improved my MPG big time.
I don't keep much in here, yet alone, run the AC. I don't know what i am doing wrong.
As a Child Protective Services Worker, I'm constantly doing Town and Neighborhood Driving (You know how that is).
I'm thinking about buying one of those "MPG Performance plugs", But i hear they're just a bunch of crap and don't help the MPG at all.
I'm only getting around 20MPG on the highway and 17MPG in Town.
Any Tips on getting better Gas Mileage?
This vehicle is so great and so fun, i'd hate having to sell it for a fuel efficient vehicle.
