how can i hook my laptop up to my TV?

In order to watch movies?
I see nothing for an Svideo port
or what have you in the back of my TV
(which is a HD vizio, laptop is a windows vista)
I see a whole set up in the back of my TV
that says: RGB PC
a light green hook up for audio
and then at the top three other colored hook ups:
dark green, blue and red.
what type of cord will connect to my laptop to the TV?
any help would be nice thanks =)
I do have a flat screen TV brand new less than a month old. it is a 22inch flat screen HD TV
there is no where I can hook up a 15 pin to either my TV or laptop.
all the places in the back to hook up my PC
has connecters that look like a DVD player can hook up to. know how the lil things on the end of the cord for the dvd player are yellow red white? well the ones on the back of my TV state for the PC are blue green and red.

the thing on my lappy wasn't blue!
it totally threw me off!

most every laptop will have a 15pin VGA connector either on the side or on the back somewhere. this connector is usually blue. there should also be on your pc, near the green audio hookup.

I have mine hooked up to my TV like this, I also use a wireless Mouse and Keyboard so I dont have to run too many wires.
