i just moved into a new apartment. I know that a move is traumatizing and my cats need some time to adjust but at night they do nothing but cry. i wake up and put them in the bed with me and cuddle with them, they fall asleep and then an hour later they are awake crying somewhere else in the apartment. it keeps me awake and also i feel terrible. we have had very long nights. and I worry too that they will keep my neighbor awake upstairs.
Is there something different I could be doing? should i close my bedroom door at night or still leave it open allowing them to wander at night?
I'm looking for some suggestions so maybe we can start to adjust better and have less sleepless nights.
