She always looks down and subtly tries to hide her face whenever i introduce her to family or friends and she's very shy. so yesterday i asked her why she acts like that and she said, and i quote; "because i don't wanna embarrass you...its nice that you want to show me off but im nothing to be proud of" and that just about broke my heart 
why would she think like that?? its not true at all! she is beautiful and my friends and fam all agree with me and they all love her! i mean im even 2 years older than her and she knows most 16yr old guys like myself want to date a girl older than them but no, i want her and only her. but she just can't see it that way. what can i tell her or do for her to make her see that she is in fact someone to be very very proud of?
