I've had the problem for a few months - can't bend my index finger more than 90 degrees, and can't straighten it completely. I went to the doctor and she said that the tendon is swollen. Anti-inflammatories aren't working. I could have a steroid injection in my finger but that can cause other problems. I've read that there is an operation that can be done on the hand but it can cause scarring of the tendon which can make the problem worse in the long run.
While I'm going through the ropes with the doctor I'd like to try out some healing meditations. I've come across some in yoga meditation - directing prana. Then there's Silva Mind Control techniques, and visualisation. Has anyone got any experience of these things or some other sort of meditation or something along these lines?
I've hear acupuncture can be good for things like this too.
