Unfortunately, plugging in the good speakers to my desktop won't work, because the speakers won't work with it. I have the laptop speakers on the highest bass setting but it still sounds too squeaky. What can I do to give it the bass boost that my desktop has?
@joseph: They don't use a headphone jack, and they just don't work.
I've tried everything all 3 of the answers have suggested short of buying stuff to fit this specifically, if they even make what I need, and it still squeaks even with the bass turned up as much as possible. It helps a little, but it just doesn't have the punch it needs.
