How can I get the clearl digital picture I had before hooking up DVD, cable box...

...and RF modulator to TV? After many attempts at trying to hook up my DVD to the cable box, and RF modulator to my TV I finally got it last night. Thanks to someones instructions on eHow.

Now my problem is before hooking up the DVD and all other equipment, I had the nice clear digital picture since the HD change over by all the television stations.

Is there a way I can get that nice clear picture I had before? The picture is not that bad, you can see it but is't not crisp. The DVD picture is fine.

You cannot get HD signal quality over RF modulation cables. You must have either Component (Red Green Blue) or HDMI on the back of your TV. If your cable box is old then its probably not HD. DVDs are not HD quality but will look good over Component or S-video.

If you can avoid using RF cable and switch to Component, HDMI, or if all you have is S-Video you'll be a lot better off.
