How can I get ringtones on my Palm Pre?

i have had this phone since October, and it's driving me crazy that i cannot get ringtones.

i had a friend send me a song through a text, i can play and listen to it, but i can't save it or like put it as a ringtone. can i put something as a ring tone through a text with this phone?

if not, how can i do it regular????????
