...down inside toilet rim? I suddenly had a running toilet in my newly-purchased house the other night. A piece of "toilet deodorant" (which actually smells awful, like the smell of mothballs, previous resident put it in) had fallen down the hole below the flapper and prevented it closing. I dislodged the "toilet deodorant", but the problem now is, that the "deodorant" piece is now trapped inside the rim of the toilet and smells awful. Any suggestions on how to get it out, or get it to dissolve?
