How can I get ready for the army or marines?

I have always been scared to join any armed forces, scared of what might happen but now I really want to go and don't care what people think about me.
I am currently 18, 6'0 250 lbs. I know I am pretty big, but I have yet to enlist and do boxing to lower my weight, Although I am big I can run about 3 miles do 20 pushups but not many pull-ups. this is an example of the workout I do but anything that will help me get ready is also helpful.
Monday: Run 3-4 miles
Tuesday: Sprint
Wednesday: Run 3 miles
Thursday: Sprint
Saturday: Light jogging

I would like to know what else I can do to get me ready by next year and what weight I should be aiming for my doctor says for my height the lowest I can go and be healthy is 215 lbs.
