We have just moved to Hertfordshire and I have been told that my son will be placed in a failing school because the other good schools are full. My son is in the gifted and talented groups in Numeracy and Literacy in his primary school and has has been predicted very good SATS grades. What are my options at this stage? Does anyone know of any loopholes? I've decided that I would rather let him stay at home than attend a failing school. All suggestions welcome! Many thanks.
