how can i get my runescape private chat on to the playing screen?

my runescape private chat come up in my regular chat box. my cosin and my friends have there private chat on the screen and it is realy hard to keep track of when it's in the regular chat box plz help me
 
There should be a tab below the chat box, titled "private" or "private chat" or similiar. click on it and select something different from there.

I don't know for sure since I haven't played RS in a long time.
 
go to the tools and theres like these bubble chat things (like air quote bubbles) click those.
sorry i cant explain it to well i havent played rs in years lol
 
Click on the tool thing, and click split private chat. If it's on is going to be red and ur messages will appear on the screen
