How can I get my photos to look like this photographers?

many lenses, such as telephoto lenses, can do the effects in the pictures you saw. You can blurr the object closest[or farthest] from you and make the object farther [ or closest] to you crystal clear. You can also use the lighting in the background to make the pictures interesting, such as the one on the baseball feild! :D hope i helped
 
I'm thinking she used the Nikon D-80 (or D-60) and a photo editing program called 'Aperture.'
