I had just finished installing 7. created a repair disk but my video card(nvidea gforce mx420)was not compatable. The customer rep at the pc store insisted the radeon card he sold me would work considering it was a agp connection. After installing it and getting no response from the monitor, mouse, or keyboard, I removed it. The card required a 6 pin power connection which my pc doesn't have.I put the old card back in and now it doesn't boot, display, or light up the keyboard. The dvd rw light stays on as well as the hdd led.I even removed the ram to check for a beep code and it doesn't so I know it isn't attempting to boot.someone help me please.I am a college student who is disabled and cant afford a new computer.
